The hawthorn bushes are getting rather prolific. The upper slopes of the valley are supposed to be grassy downland - this is partly why we get the sheep to help!
So we have cut back some, up on the top of the hillside, to the east of the park.
We are going to chop up the cuttings, and, weather permitting, have a bonfire!
There could well be tea, coffee and perhaps cakes - so why not come along and join us!
